This Semi Antique Persian Tabriz Runner was meticulously hand woven in the Tabriz region of Northern Iran. Through years of history and cultural significance, rug-weaving in Persia has evolved into a true art form. Interestingly, the historical roots of Persian rugs can be traced back to the Bronze Age, but the earliest surviving pieces are from the 16th century Safavid dynasty. After being distressed and refinished in the U.S., this runner now measures 3'3" x 12'10" and is a stunning representation of Persian art and culture.
